"Passion for Inclusion" (P4I) is a project that ARSU Academy for lifelong Learning & Development Germany e. V. leads in cooperation with Turkey (Kapadokya Egitim ve Arastirma Derneg), Italy (Centro Internazionale per la Promozione dell’Educazione e lo Sviluppo), Spain (CNSE) and Romania (SC PSIHOFORWORLD). The ultimate aim of this project is to give professionals and carers of people with disabilities as many tools as possible to address sensitive issues related to sex education with people with disabilities in the most appropriate way. This will be achieved with tools such as a P4I online learning platform and an App for smartphones, which will provide tools and guidelines to those who want to address topics related to emotional and sexual education but do not know how to do so, together with visual learning tools for people with intellectual disabilities. For this purpose, parents and teachers, psychologists as well as educators are invited to various workshops in order to enable a mutual exchange. The meeting was conducted in Italian to let everyone to participate without language barriers, due to the fact that the participants came from different backgrounds. It is important for us to mention that a respectful exchange took place and that the participants listened to each other.
